Moving a license to another site
Deactivate, then reuse. The right way to move a site from staging to production.
A license is bound to one site at a time, not to one site forever. Moving it takes two steps: free the key, then activate it where you want it.
- In your dashboard, revoke the activation on the old site.
- Activate the same key on the new site.
Staging → production
Develop on staging with the license activated there, then revoke and reactivate on the live domain when you launch. You do not need a second purchase for that.
If the old site is gone and you cannot deactivate from inside it, revoke it from the dashboard — that is exactly what revoke is for.
