Required and recommended plugins
Why the theme asks for plugins, which ones are genuinely required, and update order.
After activating the theme you will see a notice listing plugins. Required plugins carry the theme's layouts and features — the demo will not look right without them. Recommended plugins are optional extras.
Updating safely
- Back up the site first.
- Update WordPress core.
- Update the theme.
- Update the plugins the theme bundles.
If a layout breaks right after an update, clear every cache — hosting, plugin and CDN — before assuming it is a bug.
